Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove

Today, Off Trail is taking a look at a new stove from Camp Chef. They are reviewing the Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Propane Stove. Set up and take down for this stove is incredibly easy, similar to Coleman stoves. The stove comes with a lid, windshields on the sides, and a standard green bottle. The front of the stove features two dials to control the gas output for each burner, along with a built-in igniter. One of the major advantages of this stove is its heat control. Each burner is rated at 20,000 BTUs, which is double the standard in most stoves. It can be run super hot or simmered on low heat for extended periods of time. With its large size, the stove provides ample room to work with and can fit various pots and pans. Despite its size, it remains highly portable, weighing approximately 12 pounds. Another notable feature is the removable grate that reveals burners with shrouds, which efficiently direct the heat straight to the cooking pot, resulting in faster cooking times and less fuel consumption. Overall, this stove offers great performance and easy cleanup. The only downside is the use of disposable green propane bottles, but there are solutions available to use larger refillable bottles for a more sustainable option.
