The Lindberg N.O.W. Titanium Collection frames have a design flaw that has been neglected by the company, despite existing negative feedback for over 2 years. The thin composite of the frame, measuring only 2 millimeters thick, poses problems when fitting prescription lenses. Heat deformation is a concern, so a cold mount method must be used, which creates micro fissures that expand and lead to cracks over time. Additionally, the meeting point between the titanium temple and the composite material is prone to stress fractures and cracks due to regular wear and tear. Though the frames are lightweight and generally well-designed, these issues significantly diminish their overall quality.
