Summer's End

For those living in the northern half of the planet, summer came, and soon it will be gone. Winter awaits. The beach is always a popular place to enjoy some of the remaining warm days. As it should be. Never mind the passing of the seasons and our eventual plunge into the great cold void of winter, let's play ball!

Morning found us calmly unaware
Noon burned gold into our hair
At night, we swim the laughin' sea
