Review: Wavian USA JC0020KVS Green Authentic NATO Jerry Fuel Can and Spout System (20 Liter)

Chris has shared his comparison of three jerry cans in this review. The vent on the mouth is subpar, and the spout that comes with it glugs a lot. The welds are not flush, and it has thin tack welds that pop off easily. Chris does not recommend this can.

Next, he reviews the Geld can, which is heavier than the Chinese can and has a 0.8 millimeter thick steel body. It has recessed seam welds and sticks out a bit, but not as much as the Chinese can. The inside is coated and does not have rust. The venting system is good, and it does not glug when you pour it. The lid does not close when you go to pour gas, which is a plus. It is spot-welded, and the handle is solid.

The Polish can is a NATO can that is 0.8 millimeter thick and coated on the inside. It has good venting, and the spot welds are good quality. It is heavier than the Geld can, and the handle does not flex when filled with gas. The certification for NATO users makes it a legitimate can.

Lastly, Chris reviews the Wavian Jerry can, which is made in the same factory as the Wave En can in Latvia. It has a V and a serial number on top, and the welds are flush and full-beaded. It is 0.9 millimeter thick steel and coated on the inside. It does not touch at all when stored on its side, unlike the Geld can. Chris points out that there are some bare spots on the coding, but it is hard to tell on camera. Overall, the welds on the Wavian Jerry can are the best among the three cans.
